Krishna Radha. I think this painting by far, is painting for which I have strived the most unexpectedly and I am thoroughly satisfied with the result.
With this painting I am once again resurrecting this once passionate blog of mine. The availability of other social media apps like instagram have made posting easy and quick, so harly bother with this blog.
This painting has remained with me unattended since long and picked up a couple of month back. I think I started this in 2016 and resumed again in October 2018. I had initially thought of doing this in acrylic but the smoothness required made me to switch to oil medium. A very thin coat of acrylic has been applied before working with oil on this..
I think this painting relates to me in my own pursuit of love and spirituality. Lord Krishna has been my inspiration since childhood. He constitutes the love for which I sense the relation. His stories and his entire being showcase harmony and love within our mortal conscience. This love means eternity in limited mortal self.
Painting something spiritual also feel like at times there is a conversation with God. Being sane is something of a challenge. This makes it easy. In the dialogues there is always pointer to hope.
"I am the beginning, middle and end of creation." is what Lord Krishna said in Bhagavad Gita. This creation, encompasses that understanding and is tribute to the essence of relational love.
