This is my first sketch of a series I want to create this year. I have planned on sketching portraits of around 10 women, who I consider gorgeous. I also plan to sketch 10 men, whom I consider as handsome. Its a practice for me to achieve a high level of skill on drawing portraits. Along the way I can also share the beauty of people and art with you.
The photograph taken of her looked fantastic, it accentuated her beauty, the hair dispersed in the breeze towards the left.The sun shone just towards the top-right of her head, its rays illuminated the right half of her hair. It looks beautiful in essence. The casting of partial shadows on the face gave good effects on the sketch.

One point I have realized is beauty always depends on the situation and the viewer, not always on th subject itself.
