This work has been done on oil pastel. Its done on A3 cartridge paper. Its a dessert which I cannot identify but looks yummy. This is the first oil pastel painting I have done with my new set of 48 Mungyo oil pastel. They seem to be better than the Camilin ones I have. They especially blend into each other with certain good amount of smoothness without pressing too much. What I also like is the thick texture of the pastel upon the sheet. I had read somewhere that the oil pastel are similar to oil paints with property of being opaque. In this work I could not find the same similarity. May be with more work something more could be found out of this medium.
Below is the drawing and image reference.
