This is a dry pastel on A3 cartridge. I had taken a 12 color set of Conte dry pastels long back and had never tried it. This time I did try. The colors in the set were all meant for scenery creation and so I used it accordingly. I can realize that 12 color range does not offer much choice of playing with colors. Also in scenery detailing is hardly the objective, it has to overall feel like a good scene. Not always worth spending too much time on detailing if the subject does not catch the eyes much. Sometimes its the feel(subjective) rather than technique(objective) that has to be brought into limelight. That said there always a chance of improving if more time is spent on this.
