This portrait of late Dr. RAJKUMAR. He is/was a superstar and one of the greatest personality in the Kannada (a regional language in India) film industry. Every Kannadiga is proud of 'Annavru'. This is my another tribute to him, his talent and his work. My first tribute was a charcoal sketch and the link is
here. More about Dr. RAJUMAR can be found on
wiki.
The medium used is watercolor, its done on a A4 mat finish handmade paper. I have tried to use some variation of colors and try to make the painting more of colorful rather than lending only a monotone feel. This is also my second attempt at watercolor portraits happy with the improvements. Points for improvement will be blend the layers of color into smoothness.
