This is portrait of Sachin Tendulkar. A phenomenal player of cricket. An Indian who made India proud and cricket unbelievable. His achievements are beyond comparison and not to be only measured with the statistics alone. His passion for game is immense and he pursued it like an art rather than game. He has taken a retirement from the Indian squad as active player in all forms of cricket from 16th November,2013 onwards. He left the game with style and a very memorable speech "24 years of life between 22 yards..."
This portrait is dedicated to especially him and all his fans (me being one of them!). Hope we will see more of him. More about him can be found on
wiki.
This is charcoal medium sketch on cartridge paper.
