This is a portrait of my cousin with her daughter. I have sketched this from a photograph . I am thankful to her for providing such a lovely pic. The medium used here is charcoal on cartridge paper.
I liked the subject a lot. It exudes the affectionate love of being a mother and child and the relation. I liked the expression on the child's face and soft caring touch of a mom with her child as she fondles with her kid's hand. May be some where in my mind I have the thought of my own mom showing such gentle love towards me and me responding back with love/affection whatever the world calls.
